Academics
At First Baptist Schools, we believe that academic excellence is not only a means of preparing students for higher education but also a calling to steward the minds God has given us for His glory. We are committed to developing students who are academically prepared, spiritually grounded, and intellectually equipped to make a difference for Christ in their future vocations and communities.
FBS functions as a college-preparatory school, offering a rigorous, well-rounded curriculum that challenges students to think critically, communicate effectively, and apply biblical principles to all areas of learning. Our academic program meets and exceeds the requirements set forth by the California Department of Education, ensuring that students are fully prepared for success at the collegiate level and beyond.
Every student follows a prescribed course of study, thoughtfully recommended to ensure that they maximize their academic potential during their time at FBS. Education at FBS is
more than the accumulation of knowledge—it is the formation of character, the pursuit of wisdom, and the preparation to fulfill God’s purpose in each student’s life.
Affiliations and Accreditations
FBS is a member of the Golden State Association of Christian Schools, the California affiliate of the American Association of Christian Schools.
